Master Class
From 2023, both children's and professional courses on needlework and entrepreneurship have been operating on the basis of the Eco Handicraft workshop.
Those who want to learn the oldest traditional handicraft - felt processing. The directions of this handicraft are diverse: dry, wet, frame techniques, Nuno felting - in "Eco Handicraft" they master all these directions. They learn to create the design of the product to be manufactured, structural planning, selection/combination of colors, materials, textures.
In the workshop, in addition to working on handicrafts, they learn how to create a price index for a handmade item, calculate profit/loss, the basics of PR and marketing, branding their own works, working with a camera and creating digital content. It is important to have experience in sales, which is a necessary part of the training course.
In events organized locally and across the country, Eco Handicrafts students participate in an exhibition/sale format. With the help of open master classes, they learn to share knowledge and become teachers of other children themselves.
It is a great experience for both the child and the budding entrepreneur - who, in addition to mastering the craft, learns how to put his knowledge into practice.
At the base of the workshop, in addition to teaching, we have a 2-hour work program for interested groups (tourists, schoolchildren, kindergartens, etc.), where they will be able to engage in the endless creative process of felting on the spot, going through all the stages in order to be able to make a complete product.
Any interested person, group or organization can order a felt workshop of the Eco Handicraft Workshop, both one-time and an extensive, three-day program - in this format we cooperate with various educational institutions, non-governmental and charitable organizations, as well as private organizations.
In 2024, a new direction of school courses - "Art Therapy" - for children aged 3.5 to 5 years will be created in the learning space of "Eco Handicrafts". The main goal of these courses is to promote the development of small children's hand motility, sensorics, imaginative thinking, planning and group work skills.
