Project Description / What are the outcomes of the project?

The project's goal is to support the creative sphere/culture, so that the sector becomes a significant component of local development (local municipality). To achieve this aim, the project's task is to provide access to entrepreneurial skills development for individuals working in the creative sphere, individual artists, and representatives of various creative organizations, enabling the sector to achieve sustainable growth, evolve their products, and commercialize them, which in turn implies increasing demand for their services and offerings. The indirect goal of this project is to connect artists working in the creative sphere, thereby increasing the network connections of cultural sector representatives in the Zugdidi Municipality.

Project beneficiaries will undergo theoretical and practical training, and will also attend educational-type events led by experienced local and international trainers/experts. In parallel with the training, project beneficiaries will be registered on various international platforms, which will enable them to connect with international volunteers with relevant experience.

Expected OUTCOMES

  • Development of beneficiaries' entrepreneurial, marketing, photo/video art, budgeting, and event commercialization competencies.

  • Collaboration of people working in the cultural sector, both in Zugdidi and beyond.

  • Increased awareness, which will increase demand for their services and offerings.

  • Development of competence in planning and conducting joint events.
