I am Tsitsino Shengelia, and it has been making me happy for a long time that I can boldly say - "I broke the stereotype and I am a female master of decorative wood processing from Samegrelo." For the third year now, I have a wood decorative processing enterprise from Tsitsi, which is represented on the market with massive wooden kitchen equipment and various decorative items for the home.I was born and raised in Zugdidi, I'm a rebel by nature and that's probably why I started working with wood, everyone told me that it's not a woman's job, I couldn't avoid it, but I was able to do it and it worked out, it wasn't easy, but it worked out.
Working with wood has its own alchemy, it's an amazing material to work with, it always gives you feedback, with the warmth you get when working with it, the texture when you touch it, the scent when you carve it. In parallel with Khis Sasamos, I work in an international organization and do the main work of my life - I help women to become economically and mentally strong, and every day I try to lay a small brick in the cause of women's economic empowerment.
